World War II Postcard, Look What I've Found in-New Zealand, 2nd Card Ships Free

This card is inscribed, "Look What I've Found in-New Zealand." It shows a young Maori woman, a Taitamanine Maori and describes the headdress, a taniko desgn and huia feather.
One of a group on cards I have listed from New Zealand. Cartoon cards showing American soldiers and ANZAC troops, the nickname for the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps in World War I, a group that fought with distinction and gained a reputation as elite shock troops in some of the bloodiest actions of the war.
ANZAC was reformed briefly in WWII for the Battle of Greece in 1941, and these cards are from then.
This card is in mint condition, and is excellent, with a bit of edge/corner wear. Copyright by A. Gyles & Sons.
