Here is a vintage piece of postal history. World war II patriotic cover on a #6 envelope. From catchetmaker A. L. Barnes. Catchet shows a soldier throwing out the trash...the Axis leaders. Dated 1944. Backstamped by Barnes,with a pencil notation from the artist "Looks like I go in for garbage cans!!" and "Barnes #1". Excellent condition.
