Here is a vintage piece of postal history. World war II patriotic cover on a #6 envelope. From catchetmaker J. N. Lawrence. Catchet shows an American sailor strangling Japanese General Tojo, witht he inscription "You'll be saying Uncle soon, too!" Postmarked on the first anniversary of D-Day, from the Naval Hospital in San Diego. Pencil notations along the top. Excellent condition.
