Winter baby bonnet. This is either from the 1950's or the 1920's. I'm not sure which generation of the family it came from, but probably 1950's. Could be of Swedish origin, but not sure.
Lined bonnet is heavily embroidered with flowers in red, white, and blue. Eight flowers on side and back panels, and five on top.
Bonnet is in excellent condition except for some age toning on the outside white fabric. I don't know if that can be removed. Size of bonnet is roughly 5.5" by 5" on the side panels, with the center panel (top and back) about 3.5" wide. Ties are a sewn piping type 10" long with a sewn on sliding closure that holds them together.
A phenomenal colorful piece of hand -embroidered baby wear.
