Vintage 1920's-30's vaudeville postcard. Contortionists Charles Normile. Back of the card is a request from the performer to the operator of a show for a job, detailing pay scale. A newspaper clipping glued on the front of the card acts as a referral.
The card is a real photo postcard in great condition with only slight rounding of corners and no creases or wrinkles. It is not postally sent, as it was probably handed out in person.
A very unusual card from the early days of the public entertainment industry, with a very unusual look into the arrangements that were made.
As with all my single postcards, only pay shipping on the first one. Additional cards ship for free.
