Trans-Mississippi Exposition Medal

Medal from the Trans-Mississippi Exposition in Omaha, Nebraska in 1898. The obverse shows a composite portrait of the most beautiful women found in that part of the country. The reverse is based on the well-known picture called The Wild Huntsman. It is dated 1848 on the reverse (the year gold was discovered in California), and dated 1898 on the obverse, the date of the expo.
It is a so-called dollar, #HK-283, brass, 34mm. This one grades at Almost Uncirculated, AU55.
