Here is a great collectible for hunters. This is a Remington calendar from the year 1976. Each calendar has a cover picture, plus a picture for each of the 12 months. Artwork is on the top page of the calendar, with dates on the bottom page as the calendar hangs on the wall. This calendar also has the logo of Dupont. The advertising bar on the top of the calendar is from Verle Hunt in Ackley, Iowa. Size of each page is about 12" by 14" and the pages are spiral bound. Mint condition.
The 1976 calendar was a tribute to the USA bicentennial with artist Tom Beecham. Pictures in this calendar include Calvarymen and Prairie Chickens, Black Bear and Early Settlers, Calling the Wild Turkeys, Sage Grouse for Supper, Pronghorns and Prairie Schooners, Moose and Voyageurs, The Bald Eagle Now Fully Protected, Mountain Men and Elk, Early Hunters and Canada Geese, Jumping Mallards, White-Tailed Deer at Valley Forge, Ruffed Grouse Takes Wing, .
Remington calendars are always very popular and known for having some of the best wildlife art around. Collect the calendars, or break them apart to frame the pictures or for craft projects. Will be shipped in a mailing tube for maximum protection, so you may have to flatten a bit of curl when it arrives.
