An original oil painting done by Donald Becken, a Minnesota artist in the Hallock-Greenbush area, the far NW corner of the state, near the Canadian border. Very well known artist in the area and beyond. Painted in February of 1959.
This piece is titled "War Party." Size is 16" by 20" in a wood frame, under glass. The frame size is 19" by 23". It is labeled on the back by the artist, and also has a period art store label and price tag of $100 back in the day.
I have four of Becken's oils in my shop, all related theme. Look at the others. I'll do a combined deal for the group for anyone who is interested in this artist.
