Iowa License Plate, 1937, Sound

Automobile license plate from the state of Iowa. Dated 1937, number 86-1876 (86 is Wapello County). Surface corrosion over the entire plate, but paint is still on the numerals. Plate itself is sound, flat, and solid with no bends, creases, or splits in the metal.
Use as is for decoration, or would be a good one to restore and repaint.
