Here is a strip of error stamps, which are difficult to get. This USA stamp is Scott Catalog #2265a, the imperforate error stamp (it never had the perforations put in the paper between the stamps). Even more unusual, this strip of 6 imperf stamps is also a pnc...plate number coil. It is pnc #1. The design is the Railroad Mail Car from the Transportation series put out in the 1970's. Stamps are superbly centered and never hinged.
