The Great American Shooting Prints, Coffee Table Book

Large coffee table book. The Great American Shooting Prints, published in 1972 by Ridge Press/ Alfred A. Knopf. Selections and text are by Robert Elman. 72 different hunting prints by a wide variety of artists, some of the best known wildlife and sportmen artists. The book is set up so a description is on the left-hand page, while the print is reproduced on the right side up to full page sized. Each page is 12.25" by 15.75".

Beautiful beige cloth covered boards with gold lettering. The cover has a very slight bow to it, and there is a discoloration mid -bottom on both the front and back...thumb and finger oils from grabbing the book. There is a gift inscription on the front endpaper. The original glassine insert still covers the title page.

A gorgeous book for the art lover and collector of hunting themed items. Great decorator book or mancave display piece.
