Here's a wonderful antique pottery kinderkrug (children's stein or miniature stein). This is a three-panel stein, probably based on an old German children's story, though I don't recognize which one. Condition is very good, with a tiny nick in the lip, a tiny crack in the glaze next to the nick, and some very light crazing starting to form. About 4" tall with a base of 2.5". There is no maker's mark anywhere, as is typical of the oldest of these. Could date as old as the late 19th or early 20th century. loc:hllcb
