Fantastic Handmade Hammered Brass Pot, Cauldron, Kettle

Here is an amazing piece of vintage cooking equipment. The brass pot is handmade. A single piece of hammered brass was formed and then soldered/brazed to for the sides of the pot. Another piece of formed hammered brass was then used to form the bottom and this was soldered/brazed to the sides. Iron eyes were used to hold an iron handle, and this was hand riveted to the sides of the cauldron.

Overall condition is excellent. There is some natural verdi gris on the piece, as one would expect on a vintage piece of brass. Size of the kettle is 6" at the rim, about 6.5" at its widest, and about 4-3/8" high (plus the handle).
