Here is a beautiful parfait (without the lid it is considered a vase). The pattern is "Dewey," named after the admiral that was a Spanish-American War hero.

Dewey was made by Indiana Tumbler & Goblet Company / Greentown Glass in 1898. Bright canary yellow that is vaseline/uranium glass and glows like crazy under a black light. Height is about 6.75" and 3" in diameter across the top.

The lids are rarely found with these, so most are sold as vases instead of parfaits. The lid on this one is in perfect condition with no roughness on the rim.

The vase itself is also in excellent shape EXCEPT a tiny hairline crack, 1/2" developed in the top rim. Nearly invisible when looking straight on, but easily seen from an angle (see the last picture). Two very tiny rough spots are on the rim where the lid sits, mentioned simply for accuracy.

A very rare piece of glass that seldom comes on the market.

As always, buy more than one item from my shop and I'll combine the shipping. I don't make a profit on shipping like some sellers do. However, etsy's calculator doesn't do well with combined orders, so you may get a partial refund of your shipping cost after you have paid for the order.

Keep in mind that many of my items are one-of-a-kind, and I have local customers looking at them. If you buy something that has just sold locally and wasn't yet removed, the order will be cancelled and your full payment returned to you, unless I have a similar item in stock. You can always contact me before your purchase to confirm the item is still available.
