Cranberry Vase, 3-Sided Ridged Swirl

Here is a vase done in a beautiful cranberry glass. Vase stands 8" high and 3.75" at its widest point. The top 1/4" of the vase is clear glass, going into the cranberry, which appears to be the color of the glass and not just an exterior flashing.
The shape is an unusual 3-sided form for the body of the vase, with a round neck that is both flared and fluted towards the rim. The base has a raised ridge design in a diagonal swirl up to the base of the neck. There the ridges becomes a single raised ridge that corkscrews 7-8 times around the neck up to the rim.
The vase is handmade, and shows some whitish roughness on the base where it was snapped off of the punty. No marks identifying the maker, so age is unsure, but this is not antique cranberry glass.
