Here is a vintage marble from the 1800's. This is a German-made Banded Lutz with a blue glass base. Very rare.
This marble is .750" in diameter, or 3/4". It has been lightly buffed to clean it up a bit. Still has a few small hits and a chip, but nothing big enough to be really distracting. Partial pontils on both poles. Very nice bands of lutz with two white bands between on each side of the marble.
Priced in a low grade even though the eye-appeal is still very attractive. Pick up a rare marble at a fraction of the cost of one in mint condition.
