Bakelite Brooch Pin, Art Deco Vintage Carved Applejuice, Rhinestones

Here is a phenomenal antique bakelite brooch or pin with several things going for it. First, it is applejuice bakelite, which is probably the most popular and versatile of the bakelite colors. Secondly, it is heavily carved on the face with a number of free-form lines. Thirdly, it is lightly carved on the back with a series of parallel, straight lines. Viewed from the front, these appear as squiggly, painted lines due to the optics of the piece. And finally, the piece is set with 8 rhinestones that are bright white with no cloudiness. About 1-7/8" long and 3/4" wide. No chips or cracks.
I'm going to call this a 1920's - 1930's piece, as it has a somewhat Art Deco feel to it with the elongated design and free-flowing lines. Actual age could be anywhere from 1910's -1960's, and of course, there is no way to tell with 100% certainty an exact age.
By far the best bakelite brooch I've ever carried. As with all my bakelite, tested with Simichrome polish to verify it is bakelite. Retail price on this piece is $350, but I have it on sale for $250...nearly 30% off!
