Art Deco Fireplace Mantle Lamps, Brass Tulip and Etched Glass

Here is an amazing pair of 1930's art deco lamps. These were made specifically for a fireplace mantle that had wired outlets on either end, thus the plug-in cords are only 6" long.
Brass bases are 5" in diameter and are done in a tulip or lotus motif. They do show some light spotting, but a bit of 0000 steel wool and some Brasso should clean them up respectably.
The globes on these are what's truly wonderful. Made of thick 1/8"glass you would never find today...most modern shades are only 1/16". The globes are 11.5" tall. They have a spotted etched band just above the base. Above that is a 5" ethced band with a floral motif. This band has two thin etched lined above and below it. One globe has a missing flake on the top edge (see pic), a rather insignificant fault on such a rare lamp.
All together the lamps stand 16" tall. This pair of lamps is likely something you would not find again after years of looking.
